Freudenberg e-Power Systems is looking to add a PR & Communications Manager to our North American team. Overall responsibility for the project management of all work produced out of the Marketing Department with special emphasis on copy writing, proof reading, editing, and maintaining on-time delivery schedules.
Responsibilities
- Content Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies for various channels, including press releases, thought leadership articles, blog articles, white papers, case studies, newsletters, and LinkedIn posts, to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Internal Communications: Manage internal communications to foster employee engagement, align messaging across departments, and support a unified corporate culture. Channel owner of the company-wide intranet and driving its further development including coordinating with internal departments and creating relevant content.
- Public Relations Management: Oversee public relations efforts, including the creation, dispatch, and monitoring of press releases and articles. Maintain and develop media contacts, pitch relevant topics, and prepare for and follow up on interviews. Analyze media impact and adjust PR strategies based on data insights.
- Crisis Communication: Follow and manage crisis communication plans by Freudenberg Group to protect the company’s reputation also in close relation to the Freudenberg Group.
- Editorial Calendar Management: Create and manage the editorial calendar, coordinating with all content-related stakeholders (CMC, Sales, SBU, and HR) to ensure consistent messaging and content quality across all platforms.
- Media Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor media coverage and report on public relations key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Agency Management: Manage relationships with creative and PR agencies, oversee content production, and ensure that all materials meet quality standards and deadlines. Control the budget allocated for agency work and content creation.
Qualifications
- 5 years in an individual contributor role focused on PR, communications, and content creation
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, or related field
- Strong abilities in copywriting and content creation, including press releases.
- Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills; outgoing and extroverted personality.
- Familiarity with Meltwater PR tool for sending press releases and contacting journalists.
