Precision Assembler performs precision assembling, aligning, or adjusting within very tight tolerances. Follows schematics and specification documents to complete measuring, fitting, wiring, and soldering of components to assemble units. Being a Precision Assembler calibrates and tests subcomponents and finished products to ensure quality and functionality. Inspects produced parts for quality assurance, identifies defects and makes adjustments. Additionally, Precision Assembler uses standard hand and power tools, and precision measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, and dial calipers. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Precision Assembler works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Dielectric is hiring a full-time Production Assembler to construct and assemble component parts, building of transmission lines, soldering, and assisting in shipping / receiving of internal or external products.
The individual responsible will work hands-on with a wide variety of components to build antennas and their respective unique parts.
Must be familiar with quality standards concepts, practices, and procedures within a manufacturing environment. Must be able to perform a variety of tasks under general supervision with strong problem- solving skills, and the desire to learn.
