Precision Assembler performs precision assembling, aligning, or adjusting within very tight tolerances. Follows schematics and specification documents to complete measuring, fitting, wiring, and soldering of components to assemble units. Being a Precision Assembler calibrates and tests subcomponents and finished products to ensure quality and functionality. Inspects produced parts for quality assurance, identifies defects and makes adjustments. Additionally, Precision Assembler uses standard hand and power tools, and precision measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, and dial calipers. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Precision Assembler works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Lead Responsibilities
Each candidate's qualifications will be assessed to determine who is most qualified for the position. The final selection process will include interviews with the Department Supervisor(s) and Human Resources. This is an appointed position and title can be removed at any time for any reason.
Leads are intended to be "working leads" in that they are expected to carry out their normal job title functions with some modifications by their supervisor. The additional responsibilities of the lead are generally defined by the supervisor and typically include the following:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in wax preferred; however, on the job training is provided.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to read instructions and write legibly, lift and/or maneuver objects weighing up to 35 pounds, stand for extended periods of time, use hand held tools, and work in working conditions which may include exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and varying temperatures.
