Press Operator Assistant - All Widths jobs in Fort Wayne, IN

Position Summary

This position reports directly to the Production Supervisor and will be responsible for operating different stud press machines and assisting CNC Cell Operators, as needed

More specifically, this position will be responsible for activities including, but not limited to the following :

Supports Hub production through different processes including

Assembling hubs and races / boltsOperating a stud press machineMoving hubs to and from conveyor

Requirements

• Prior manufacturing experience working on an assembly line preferred, but not required
• Abillity to read and comprehend work instructions and other simple documents. Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and looks for ways to promote quality
• Observes safety procedures
• Maintains good attendance and work ethic
• Hand tool experience is a plus. Also working with hubs, races, bolts, stud press machines, pallets, and conveyor belts
