Press Brake Operator Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)

Perform all assigned machine shop operations

Detect and report defective materials, identify non-conforming parts, and relieve from inventory as necessary, produce accurate components

Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety and cleanliness procedures

Work at different workstations as needs required or shifts between stations

Determine tooling, set computer numerical control (CNC) unit, and promptly produce quality work satisfies customer requirements

Test, inspect, and produce bent, formed, or cut parts, and document results

Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements

Press Brake Operator Shift Info

Day Shift, 7 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm

Monday - Friday

Press Brake Operator Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)

Organized, detail-oriented, reliable

Safety awareness by being able to identify and correct conditions that affect safety

HS Diploma or GED preferred, or proven track record in work experience / training

Able to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and work with fractions and decimals

May perform milling, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sawing, and sanding tasks

Knowledge with ERP software. CSI / Syteline is a plus

Valid driver's license and able to commute to and from Sioux Rapids

Previous stock or inventory experience a plus

Previous experience operating a forklift or pallet jack a plus
