JOB SUMMARY
Collects and analyzes data to provide insight and support for pricing strategies in designated markets across the US and Canada. Conducts research and works with Revenue Management leadership and field operations to determine pricing strategies that help to optimize sales, margins and asset utilization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Makes pricing recommendations based on:
o Analysis of trends, historical outcomes and seasonality.
o Understanding of local market economics and competitors.
o Company strategy and consideration of constraints (resource capacity, asset utilization, etc.)
· Participates in short-term forecasting of sales & pricing objectives.
· Measures impact of price changes and adjusts pricing tactics accordingly.
· Compiles various sales & pricing management reporting.
· Supports Finance, and other functional areas in Long-Term Plan (LTP) activities.
· Performs ad-hoc projects as needed.
· Represents the department or group in cross-functional meetings and reviews.
· Participates in testing activities for Pricing System updates and enhancements.
· May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education & Experience Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree required; Concentration in economics, statistics, operations research, or supply chain management preferred
· 2-5years relevant experience preferred (e.g., supply chain management, revenue management, pricing, accounting, analytics)
· Intermediate Microsoft Excel required, advanced (Macros, Pivot Tables, VBA) preferred
· Experience with SQL/Oracle and Tableau/PowerBI is a plus
· Equivalent combination of education, training or experience accepted
