Principal Architect oversees and manages a team responsible for architectural projects. Reviews and approves architectural procedures and techniques used to complete projects. Being an Principal Architect has a diverse knowledge of architecture principles and practices, uses advanced techniques, and has responsibility for final specifications, approval of ordered materials, and overall guidance on objectives and concepts. Ensures architectural designs are completed on time and adhere to the established specifications and standards. Additionally, Principal Architect keeps up to date on the development of new architectural methods or techniques. Requires a bachelor's degree in architecture. Requires a State Architect's License. Typically reports to a director. The Principal Architect typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Principal Architect typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.   • Infosys is seeking an AWS Cloud Solution Architect. As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will play an important role in creating the Architecture and high level design artifacts. You will also do technical feasibility and identify smart ways of completing client’s requirement. You will guide the team technically and work closely with offshore team acting as a communication medium between the client and offshore.     Required Qualifications:
    • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Raleigh, NC, or Hartford, CT, or Phoenix, AZ, or Indianapolis, IN, or Richardson, TX, or Providence, RI, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US. This position may require travel in the US.
    • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education.
    • At least 11 years of Information Technology experience.
    • At least 10 years of experience in Cloud technologies.
    • In depth knowledge of key AWS services - EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, VPC, ElastiCache, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Route 53, CloudFront, SNS, IAM, ECS, EKS, DirectConnect, Service Catalog, Systems Manager, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline etc.
    • Experience in AWS Foundation, Discovery and assessment and migration of Infrastructure.
    • Experience with Developing alternate technology solutions blueprint (cloud-based computing, storage, etc.) to build case for legacy technology modernization.
    • Develop recommendations for operating model development to implement transformation initiatives.
    • Hands on experience on cloud strategy and suitability assessment and definition.
    • Proven knowledge of evaluating the AWS hosting consumption charges and cost optimization.
    • Ability to quickly establish credibility and trustworthiness within key stakeholders.
    • Understanding of DevOps and Cloud Industry trends and AWS vs other cloud platform feature capabilities.
    • Experience in Managing delivery in Global Delivery Model with onsite/offshore resources.

    • Provide technical perspectives to other architecture functions to ensure that solutions effectively leverage infrastructure capabilities and services and integrate with them.
    • Excellent initiative, organization, and customer service skills.
    • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
