DescriptionJob Title: Oracle Database Administrator
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Oracle database systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software.
- Monitor database performance and implement performance tuning.
- Ensure database security and data integrity.
- Perform regular backups and recovery operations.
- Manage database storage and capacity planning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
- Collaborate with developers and other IT staff to support database needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and administration.
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM.
- Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions.
Working hours will be approximately 8-5 PST
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $80.00
