Summary/Objective
The responsibility of the Technical Services Manager is to manage the new product development, process improvement, and innovation through interactions with customers, suppliers, and CCL employees, both internal and external to the facility.
Essential Functions

§ Provides leadership in managing development activities to ensure that projects transition from research to commercialization phases meet all customer company requirements.
§ Ensuring that the appropriate development activities are planned and executed during the development of new products, new processes and improvements to existing products and processes through validation and implementation.
§ The Manager will have experience and expertise in processes associated with product development including Quality by Design, Design Control and Risk Management, and be able to drive these processes through the project management and change management processes.
§ The Manager will lead and supervise the activities of the development group as well as consulting with stakeholders in the process (Customers, Production, Quality and Regulatory etc.)
§ The Manager will also have experience leading and participating in significant cross-functional projects in a formal project management environment.

This job operates in a professional office environment and light manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copies, and fax machines. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles and print chemicals involved in a printing environment. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud.
Physical Demands
The following physical qualifications must be met to perform the essential functions of this job: Ability to stand, sit, and lift at least twenty pounds unassisted is required. Occasionally lifting to fifty pounds. The ability to remain in a seated and/or standing position for extended periods of time is required. The ability to see, hear, count, measure, read, and follow verbal directives in English is required. Color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus are required.
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Must work overtime when needed.

Required Education/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Industry experience
10 years’ experience in a regulated environment, with demonstrated success in product development.
Experience in a similar position and be self-directed, timeline and deadline driven.
Experience with technical depth and strength.
Have the vision and leadership to establish a strong product development function.
Preferred Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Industry experience
Experience in regulated environments: cGMP and or ISO standards is preferred.
