This includes performing independent competitive research, conducting product tastings, reviewing package design, planning new item launches, and supporting private label on eCommerce. Most importantly, they will dive into business, sales, and marketing data to evaluate product and promotion performance. Additionally, they will play a crucial role in calendar planning where they will be exposed to both category management as well as marketing strategy.
PROJECT EXPECTATIONS: Establish a framework and template for product launches by tier. Each tier should include pricing and promotion strategies, product placement/merchandising & display plans, channel execution, shopper marketing opportunities, community marketing opportunities, sampling plan and host-facing deliverables such as talking points and breakroom posters.
