Description:
Responsibilities: - Support all continuous improvement activities through Lean Manufacturing - Focus on eliminating waste, downtime, and reducing excess costs - Cell layout, cycle counting and time studies - Maintain project timelines and launch objectives - Build relationships with end customers to collaborate on product changes or any issues - Work closely with quality department to determine root cause of issues, and develop corrective actions - Make recommendations to mold and fixture design changes

Must Haves: - 2 years in a manufacturing, process or continuous improvement role - Reporting on scrap and equipment downtime - Data collection and time studies - Cost saving initiatives Preferred: - Bachelors degree in technical field - OR additional years of experience with no degree - Would consider a recent graduate with strong co-ops or internships - Customer interaction and experience working through issues - Collaboration with quality - Plastics experience (injection molding and/or blow molding) - Automotive industry experience (Tier 1 or OEM) - Product launch experience - Assembly process background
