We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SMT Process Engineer to join our PCB manufacturing team!
The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of IPC610 standards and printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing processes, especially Surface Mount Technology (SMT).
This role involves optimizing SMT processes, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the production line.

Responsibilities:
Develop, refine, and optimize SMT processes to ensure efficiency and quality in PCB assemblies.
Interpret IPC610 standards to maintain high quality in soldering and assembly processes.
Conduct process validation and implement best practices for stencil design, paste printing, component placement, reflow soldering, and inspection.
Troubleshoot SMT line issues, including defects identification and root cause analysis.
Collaborate with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and resolve PCB design issues.
Implement continuous improvement strategies to reduce defects and improve yield.
Monitor and adjust process parameters to meet product specifications and quality standards.
Train production staff on SMT techniques and IPC610 standards.
Maintain up-to-date documentation on process manuals, procedures, and training materials.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in PCB manufacturing with a focus on SMT processes.
Comprehensive understanding of IPC610 standards and their application in PCB assembly.
Proven experience in process optimization and troubleshooting in an SMT production environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in software tools relevant to PCB design and manufacturing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
