Process Engineer develops and optimizes continuous production and manufacturing processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization. Collects production data and applies standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes. Being a Process Engineer identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve. Recommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials. Additionally, Process Engineer requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Process Engineer works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. To be a Process Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. Position Purpose:
This role provides product technology and process-engineering assistance and supports the implementation of new products at Lindt USA. This person provides technological assistance, guidance and troubleshooting to the New Product Development and Manufacturing Process. This role works cross functional including but not limited to Production, Quality Assurance, Engineering and Marketing. This position is responsible to provide the factory with critical operating parameters for new and improved processes and formulas to ensure the products are manufactured complying with the L&S high quality standards and approved specifications.
