MUST HAVE INJECTION MOLDING EXPERIENCE

  Description:

  Leads and oversees multiple new process projects from concept through final plant hand-off.

  
  

  Responsibilities:

  • Performs all responsibilities of process engineer based on previous titles of Process

  Engineer Level 1.

  • Leads and oversees the entire processing project while meeting all customer schedule trial

  builds and launches.

  • Must work in a safe manner in compliance with KNA policies and maintain an awareness of danger to themselves and others.
  • Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures.
  • Authorities for an employee are granted by means of work instructions, policies and procedures and/or direction provided by management to meet the requirements of the customer
  
  

  EDUCATION

  • High school diploma 10 Years Maintenance Experience; or BS Degree in ME, IE, or ET; or AAS in Mechatronics, Maintenance, or Tooling
  
  
  

  EXPERIENCE

  • 3 or more years in the relevant engineering field and based on documented performance reviews from General Manager of Production Engineering
  
  

  SKILLS:

  • Experience working with Windows operating system as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint),
  • Proficient in AutoCad, and/or Solidworks experience
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to write technical reports
  • Proficient at troubleshooting - root cause analysis and problem solving techniques
  • Proficient in forming, automation, and pokayoke processes
  • Knowledge of ISO/IATF
  
  

  Work Environment:

  This job operates in an office and manufacturing environment, and routinely uses standard office equipment the noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud

  
  

  Physical Demands:

  The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds The employee may also be required to work in hot temperatures
