Process Engineer develops and optimizes continuous production and manufacturing processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization. Collects production data and applies standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes. Being a Process Engineer identifies process bottlenecks and devises solutions to resolve. Recommends changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials. Additionally, Process Engineer requires a bachelor's degree of engineering. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Process Engineer works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed. To be a Process Engineer typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.     The Opportunity:
    The Sr. Process Engineer will lead the engineering team for the Fulfillment Center and work with operations to improve customer service and satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and cost savings. The Sr. Process Engineer will also manage capital projects to support facility and process improvements. You will report to the Sr. Manager, Process Engineer and Operational Excellence.
    Who We Are:
    Responsible for process improvement, methods and measurement, and capital projects for the domiciled fulfillment center. You will also support larger automation engineering capital projects.
    Your Impact:
    • Responsible for all engineering deliverables with the Fulfillment Center.
    • Conduct direct labor studies using acceptable engineering practices to determine areas for improvement.
    • Support preparations of departmental budget, including material, manpower, equipment, and outside procurement costs and operate within approved parameters.
    • Analyze distribution methods and standards. Recommend improvements (technology, process, material handling) to maximize workflow and spatial use.
    • Process design and implementation plans that result in improved service, cost savings, or improved quality of services.
    • Concept design, approval, justification, project management, and implementation of capital and facility expansion projects.
    • Provide support for an engineered labor standards program.
    • Maintain facility AutoCAD layouts.
    • Partner with Operations to develop preferred methods/Standard Operating Procedures for the warehouse.
    What You Bring:
    • 5 or more years of industrial engineering experience in high volume warehousing or distribution and successful demonstration of the responsibilities and skillset listed above
    • A BS Degree in Industrial Engineering or Operations Research or related discipline is required
    • Maynard Operational Sequence Technique (MOST) Certified
    • Project Management Experience
    • Lean or Six Sigma training
