Process Engineering Technician provides technical support to engineers to ensure production goals of the organization are met. Provides assistance related to the review of existing and design of new manufacturing equipment, processes, and plants. Being a Process Engineering Technician may suggest or implement equipment purchases, modifications or calibration changes that could result in improved productivity or reduced costs related to production. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, Process Engineering Technician typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Process Engineering Technician may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Summary:
Process Technician “A” is responsible for mold/tooling changes/setups, machine and tooling troubleshooting, maintenance repair, and setup of all tooling/mold base changes as applicable to insure a safe, clean, and efficient production environment, resulting in finished product that adheres to the quality standards of George Fischer Sloane, Inc. The Process Tech “A” is the cell leader with an understanding of all facets of the operation of molding and the capabilities to lead and train other employees in the functions of their respective positions in molding.
