Proffer Produce has a job opening for a part-time produce associate. Flexible schedule, Main Days Fri/Sat/Sun early mornings, with optional Mondays and Wednesdays flexible start times. 20-32 hours a week. All applicants must be able to lift at least 50lb, must be able to down stack pallets of product.
Other job duties will consist of making displays to better improve sales of our product, highlight seasonal and sales items. You will also be assisting the produce manager with inventory control and ordering, along with coordination with your assigned sales rep here at the home office. You will be filling the fresh express salad mixes, stocking pallets and bins of produce, and making sure that all the produce that is being displayed is up to quality standards, and placing product on shelves in accordance to the stores’ designs/plans. You will also be required to pull bins and pallets onto the sales floor, as well as move existing pallets to make your designs.
