Producer coordinates the production of television or web broadcasts, shows or videos. Contributes to the ideation, concept creation, casting, and scriptwriting for productions. Being a Producer ensures productions adhere to budgeting and specifications and follow designated schedules and timelines. Collaborates with technical specialists and operators for each production's camera, sound, and lighting. Additionally, Producer typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Producer work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. General Overview:
An Associate Producer needs to be extremely organized and able to keep up with the fast pace of multiple-episode seasons. The AP needs to be detail-oriented, have a clear understanding of show structure, and be able to work well under pressure.
