Job Summary

Project Scheduler assists the Project Managers in the ongoing implementation of the project while performing responsibilities as assigned. Monitor the overall progress of project plans and regularly update Project Managers on the status of each team based on the scheduled tasks.

• Microsoft Suite experience especially MS Project
• Ability to work in fast paced environment with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, and task hours.
• Communicate project goals and priorities to project team and corporate management.
• Document and follow up on project action items.
• Determine and track project changes.
• Assess project risks and issues and coordinate solutions where applicable.
• Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
• Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes.
• Monitor project progress and create weekly project schedule status reports for Project Managers and customers.
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers and Director of Programs for information and problem solving.
• Assist with project bid requirements to include completing necessary documents for final submission.
• Undertake project tasks as required.
• Training as needed.

Education/Experience

• BA in Business (desired)
• 2 years of experience as a project scheduler. 
• An equivalent combination of training and experience
