Product Development Director plans and directs the resources and processes required to implement the vision and strategy for new product development and product lifecycle management of existing products. Establishes research and concept development projects and capabilities to innovate new products, product enhancements, and product redesign. Being a Product Development Director conducts market analysis and interacts with customers and prospects to identify new markets, articulate the value proposition, define requirements, and lead the development of a product roadmap. Oversees new product development and collaboration with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure that new and existing products support the organization's financial goals. GENERAL SUMMARY
The Development Director is accountable for planning and implementing all fundraising strategies and tactics to achieve income necessary to attain market and regional goals. Primary duties will include directing fundraising and logistics for NKF Signature Events to include Golf, Gala, and Kidney Walk as well as funding support for patient and professional programs, and future events in this market.
The Director will be responsible for managing cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for a portfolio of both existing and new corporate supporters, individual donors, industry partners and community partners. This individual will be responsible for growing engagement and revenue across each fundraising channel, while leading the development and program teams to their budgetary goal. The ideal candidate must have proven success in fundraising and/or sales and relationship management.

Must have a valid driver’s license and own insured vehicle or daily access to a vehicle. Flexible for overnight business travel. Flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed.
