The Project Manager for New Product Development will work across multiple departments to ensure the execution of the product development lifecycle at Kalan. 

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Deeply understanding the product development lifecycle at Kalan and building out a template in a PM software to allow visibility and collaboration among stakeholders that factors in timelines, file management, product reviews, and feedback.
• Facilitating regular product development meetings to ensure all stakeholders are on the same page and communicating effectively about needs/changes/delays/etc.
• Clearly communicating written recaps to all stakeholders, including delays and timeline shifts, art needs, pricing, etc.
• Problem-solving across departments to ensure products are rolled out at correct price point and on time.
• Training and coaching stakeholders on the use of PM software as needed; acting as the SME across the company on the adoption of the PM software for other departmental needs.
• Managing licensing and confirming approved licenses of selected items with licensors.

Requirements

• BA degree preferred, Project Management certification a plus
• 3 years of project management experience, ideally in a consumer goods company
• Highly experienced with cloud-based PM software such as Monday.com, Trello, Asana, etc.
• Comfortable working in a family business and owning the creation and execution of new processes
• Must be excited about the product development cycle, particularly in consumer goods
• Must be able to prioritize a fast-paced workload and be insanely organized in the process 
• Skilled communicator, with the ability to hold people accountable to project deliverables through the development of strong, positive relationships across teams

This position works onsite at our office in Lansdowne, PA. A hybrid work schedule is available.
