Develops and creates sketches and other visualizations and produces finished art work for creative projects. Being a Production Artist II applies the concepts of perspective, color theory, anatomy, and composition and utilizes art assets and software tools to produce art work. Translates requirements into required media and formats. In addition, Production Artist II may work on a variety of projects in marketing, advertising, game design, and cinematics. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in art, graphic design or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Being a Production Artist II occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Job Summary:
We are currently hiring for a part time Production Facility Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining and improving our facility to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. This position is required for a 3-4 work week duration.
Duties:
- Fabricate, assemble, and install various structures and equipment as needed
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Use power tools and hand tools for maintenance and repair tasks
- Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment
-Maintain production gear: includes cleaning, testing, and pack for upcoming jobs
-Clean, sweep, and janitorial duties within black box studio and multi-set rooms
-Be able to help build basic setups for photoshoots, video shoots, rehearsals, etc.
-Run errands to pick up/drop off equipment rentals or gear as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in a facilities or maintenance role is preferred
- Previous experience working in live production, event industry, or stagehand work
-Basic knowledge of current entertainment industry equipment
- Proficiency in fabricating, assembling, and repairing structures
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and repairs
