Overview

Responsibilities

-Maintain artwork and due dates as assigned by the Scheduler.-Ability to do basic design work.-Adjust customer-supplied art to Berry specifications.-Follow Artist instructions in graphics tracking software.-Prepare mock-ups as needed.-Produce color separations for printing plates.-Produce color proofs for internal and external customers.-Keep digital files organized according to procedures.-Follow up on jobs that are out for approval.-Ability to communicate well with customers.-Take on special projects for other departments as needed.-Basic knowledge of printing (dry offset, flexo, silkscreen).-Consistently meet acceptable standards of quality and quantity.-Contribute to department and corporate goals.-Demonstrate a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

-Degree in Graphics Arts and/or Printing Technology or equivalent in work experience.-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.-Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.-Extensive experience with Mac operating systems and associated software with emphasis on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop-Color vision within normal limits.-Visual acuity of at least 20/50 for distance (corrected or uncorrected) and a minimal near visionability to read 10-12 point type at a distance of 12-18 inches.
