Production Assistant assists with coordinating the production of television or web broadcasts, shows, or videos. Monitors designated schedules and timelines to ensure each phase of production stays on track. Being a Production Assistant collaborates with technical specialists and operators for each production's camera, sound, and lighting. Helps with set-up and operation of production equipment such as consoles or teleprompter, and completes any miscellaneous tasks needed for production. Additionally, Production Assistant may require an associate degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Production Assistant works under moderate supervision. Nursery Assistant
Duties:
- Assist with the daily operations of the nursery, including planting, pruning, weeding, caring for and moving plants
- Assist in plant propagation
- Learn nursery inventory in order to assist with customer sales
- Pull and load orders for delivery
- Assist with keeping inventory organized and growing areas maintained and clean
Skills:
- Basic understanding of nurseries, gardening, landscaping, farming and plants
- Curiosity about plants and a willingness to learn
- Ability to follow often very specific instructions
- Ability to lift 50lbs, work in all kinds of weather and perform often repetitious tasks
- Good communication skills
