Utah Film Center Production Assistants during Sundance Film Festival  

Utah Film Center is offering a unique opportunity for aspiring filmmakers, or just simply film lovers, to assist teams whose films are in the Sundance Film Festival. Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to) driving filmmakers around Park City, coordinating airport pickups and returns, assisting in planning and executing parties and events related to the promotion of the film, and running various errands as needed.  

Production Assistants are required to have a car that handles well in the snow (UDOT Snow Tire Sticker Required), and must be prepared to work extended hours. Local knowledge of Park City and how to navigate backroads is a must and housing in the Park City area is strongly preferred. Ideal candidates possess the ability to creatively problem solve, adapt well in stressful situations, are honest, can work independently and with a group, and have a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

The film teams will pay each PA:

• $300 per day
• Mileage reimbursement (67 cents/mile)
• Overtime ($37.50/hr for time exceeding 12 hrs/day)

Duration of employment will depend upon the needs of each film. The Festival will run Thursday January 23 - Feb 2, 2025.
