Responsible for accurately issuing materials to production shop orders and review production discrepancies. Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory by issuing recorded lot numbers and quantities and compare to RM Stage bin location. Assists with month-end closing by completing shop floor transactions in a timely manner. Assist with physical inventory twice a year and support routine cycle counts.
Support the review, understanding and compliance of all programs, policies and procedures contained in the Food Safety and Quality Management System. Understand my role in food safety and regulatory responsibilities as required by the SQF Food Safety Code and report any food safety concerns to initiate appropriate action. Actively participate and support the 5S and MES initiatives.
ITEM % OF TIME JOB FUNCTIONS
1. 30% Organize and prepare shop order packets from incoming production paperwork for both production lines. Audit material pick tickets for accurate recording of materials staged and returned for production. Review materials staged by comparing to inventory system and using other programs.
2. 30% Calculate materials reported from batch sheets and log quantities. Compare batch sheet quantities against actual material usage from cycle counts. Issue materials used into current ERP system’s shop floor system based on lot quantities reported from batch sheets and cycle counts for each production run.
3. 10% Generate production performance reports for input accuracy and verify that batch sheet quantities and cycle count quantities are issued accurately.
4. 10% Input paste and diced transfers into ERP system as well as input the diced and paste into an excel spread sheet. Reconciles paste and diced tomatoes deliveries against release schedule.
5. 5% Prints in-house labels for upcoming production runs. Review weekly schedule and MRP report for quantities needed. Print and submit copy to quality department for approval to print labels needed. Assure that in-house log is completed when giving labels to production personnel.
6. 5% Assist with printing the shipping incoming calendar and compare with open order schedule from Agility. Print all PO’s from both lists for the following day and place them in receiving material handler’s inbox.
7. 5% Participate in Recall Team and provide production documents required.
8. 5% Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by supervisor.

Education Level and Focus:
High School diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
Years and Type of Related Experience Required:
1 year of clerical experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Good verbal and written communication skills in formal and informal sittings. Individual should be able to conduct him/herself professionally, have a high level of integrity and be able to demonstrate a sense of urgency. Perform duties with minimal supervision.

Efficient in the use of Excel and Word, Maintenance Pro, PC literate, Macola Information System, office equipment, good filing and organizational skills. Good basic math skills.
