EFX has an opening for a Quality Control / Production Assistant in a warehouse environment. EFX has been in the imprinted promotional products and custom graphic design industry for over 30 years. We provide screen-printing, embroidery, DTG printing and Heat Transfer printing on high-end apparel & promotional products. This position is for full-time, part-time or temporary positions. Entry Level Position with no experience or can be a candidate that has a minimum of one (1) year of production, warehouse, and quality control experience, but will train the right hardworking, quick learning candidate for entry level. High School or College Student encouraged to apply, will train.

The hours will be within Monday - Friday, from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. This position pays per hour, depending on experience. This is a fast-paced warehouse environment, with light lifting involved.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assisting production machine operators on screen-printing & embroidery machines (cleaning and stacking screens, mixing inks, snipping threads on embroidered garments, using a steamer, folding garments, packing garments, etc.)
• Checking product for quality control according to company standards
• Counting and separating products
• Excellent with basic mathematical skills
• Assist with shipments
• Assist with receiving goods
• Cross training with other departments
• Keeping the warehouse area organized & supplies stocked
• Weekly janitorial tasks
• Ability to read work orders and problem solve
• Ability to use computers and software
• Keep production supplies stored away, organized & filed in good order
• Hardworking, punctual, reliable, responsible
• Efficient with their work quality and time
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs
• Exceptional attention to detail, to produce a superior quality-controlled product
• Good multitasker – someone who is willing to do whatever is required to complete an order for our customers
• Maintain a clean and neat work area
• Excellent with basic math skills - adding, subtracting, division, multiplication
• Self-starter - motivates themselves to get the job done
• Team player & works great alone as well
• Work efficiently under pressure
