Production Control Clerk jobs in Burlington, VT
Production Control Clerk performs clerical tasks that support production control and ensure the efficient flow of materials required by production schedules. Monitors the inventory of parts, components, and raw materials and coordinates ordering, invoicing, and scheduling with vendors. Being a Production Control Clerk tracks status of customer orders and production schedules to identify issues or delays and coordinates with stakeholders to expedite orders and resolve problems. Inputs and maintains production data in ERP, MRP, or other databases. Additionally, Production Control Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Control Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. This position requires a minimum of two years proven clerical and office administrative experience and must be proficient in MS Office.
Position duties include, but are not limited to, receipt, recording, and distributing work orders utilizing IBM Maximo 7.6 to service groups or crews upon customer requests.
Excellent computer and communication skills are essential.
Candidate must be reliable, punctual, able to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
The ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Government security clearance and pass a pre-employment drug screening is mandatory.
