Position Summary:

A Controller is responsible for a variety of functions to assist the Tax/ Accounting/Finance departments. All tasks require a high degree of confidentiality.

Position Responsibilities an Accounting Controller:
* Responsible for developing and maintaining HCF accounting policies and procedures, including internal controls
* Responsible for all aspects of the annual audit
* Responsible for planning, organizing and coordinating year-end close process
* Analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner
* Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements
* Manage accounting software to maintain records and prepare reports including access of HCF staff to PCC financial functions
* Support all HCF departments and staff in financial processes and procedures
* Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Bachelor’s Degree required with CPA preferred and prior long-term care/health care accounting experience preferred. Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
