Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Engineering Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
1. Troubleshoot tooling, process concerns and chronic machine problems
2. Edit CNC programs and perform production set ups
3. Troubleshoot electrical and electronic problems, perform PLC implementation & PLC program management
4. Assist with training for operators on machining & PM tasks
5. Conduct studies and record operations for such factors as time, motion, method and speed to improve efficiency or establish standard production rates
6. Conduct tool life studies and assist in analysis of information per Engineers
7. Help implement new and enhanced process tools
8. Make or modify machine parts (brackets, chucks, screws, adapter, etc.) and gauging.
9. Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization
10. Assist in conducting capability studies and ROI analysis
11. Participates in evaluation and selection of products for new and current processes
12. Lead or assist with lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvements (CI)
13. Identify CI opportunities and participate in problem solving teams
14. Participate in APQP/PPAP process and implementation of new processes
14. Follow Housekeeping, Safety & Environmental requirements (recycling, labeling, spills and programs)
15. Continuous improvement ideas in safety, productivity, quality, housekeeping
16. Comply and participate in MPM housekeeping, safety and environmental polices
17.Other duties as defined by your supervisor
