PrideStaff, a recruiting firm specializing in staffing for Central Oregon businesses, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a local vitamin and supplement company in Sisters, OR.

This is an immediate need and can start immediately. Schedule is Mon-Thu, 6 : 00am-4 : 30pm.

The Manufacturing Technician's duties include running and organizing the washroom, washing bottles, tubs and tools throughout the day, and drying and storing clean materials in the Clean Room.

They will also clean machinery and equipment, empty and clean trash receptacles, and other duties, as needed.

To be successful as a Manufacturing Technician, you should be a committed, communicative team player with excellent time management skills.

You should be able to prioritize tasks in a busy setting and adhere to GMP regulations and procedures.

Manufacturing Technician Responsibilities :

• Ensuring the availability of clean, dry equipment by washing and drying equipment and putting in the Clean Room or giving to the production employees.
• Preparing for next production day by cleaning and restocking equipment in the Clean Room.
• Cleaning machines (particularly encapsulation machines and parts) for the encapsulation team to help with alleviating bottlenecks.
• Taking out the trash and rinsing garbage cans.
• Supporting other production staff members by assisting with other tasks, as needed.

Manufacturing Technician Requirements :

• Recent work experience in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment is preferred.
• Must have high attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfortable around heavy machinery

• Ability to follow directions clearly
• Reliable and able to show up ready to work every day on time

Supervision : This position has direct supervision. The employee will meet periodically as needed with their supervisor to go over pertinent goals and assignments.

Basic Working Conditions : The employee must have their own method of dependable transportation and work full time during normal business hours Monday through Friday.

The employee must be able to work successfully in a team. The employee must be able to stand, stoop, or crouch for long periods of time.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $20.00
