Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Chester within the warehouse industry, is seeking Packing Operators to join their team!

Packing Operator Job Summary

• Pay: $17.48 an hour
• Hours for this role are as follow:

• Swing shift? 7.30 AM-7.30 PM and 7.30 PM-7.30 AM 3 / 4 Days on and 4 / 3 days off schedule. One week you will be on days and the next week you are on nights.

Responsible for packaging film in accordance with established procedures that meets or exceeds the customer’s packaging specifications, quality standards, and production requirements.
Tasks & Responsibilities - Film Packing

• Follow standard operating procedures and/or work instructions.
• Pack film within required time specifications.
• Conduct work-in-progress checks to gage progress in packing film.
• Physically receive packing materials and inspect incoming packaging accurately.
• Enter film receipts for defects and non-conformances into the customer system.
• Physically receive and process per procedures referenced herein all returned film, to include posting of all pertinent data into appropriate inventory system.
• Inspect incoming returned film and complete Warehouse Inspection Form.
• Conduct daily cycle counts of packing materials and record results into the system.
• Operate core cutting process to ensure that adequate cut cores are available and delivered to the proper area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

Packing Operator Qualifications:

• This is an entry-level position
• Good interpersonal skills required
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Warehouse Experience Preferred.
• Must be able to work day shift and overnight shift
• Must be able to work weekends
• Some Heavy Lifting
• Must be able to pass background and drug screen
• Good attitude
• Good attendance Record
