Production Supervisor jobs in Michigan
The Production Supervisor prepares work schedules, assigns work, and oversees the work product. Supervises and coordinates the work of employees who work on assembly-lines. Being a Production Supervisor requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Ensures operations and employees follow proper policies and procedures. In addition, Production Supervisor typically reports to a manager. May require certain certifications in field. The Production Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. - Train new employees
- Process necessary rework
- Approve production loads for processing
- Working supervisor role
What we are looking for:- Previous experience in a leadership role
- Manufacturing/Production experience
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility to work OT as needed
