Today, di Stefano Landscaping continues to grow and is currently seeking a talented, enthusiastic, multi-tasking production support/CDL driver. This position is responsible for managing the transport and delivery of landscaping equipment and materials.

We are seeking a dependable driver who possesses a great deal of physical and mental stamina who can consistently ensure safe, accurate, and on schedule deliveries of landscaping equipment and materials to job-sites. Must be detail-oriented, efficient, and have a clean driving record.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Able to work 40 hours/week, occasional early/ late hours.
• Assist with fleet/equipment maintenance duties when not making deliveries
• Fully understand how to operate and safely drive all combination of fleet vehicles and trailers
• Transport and deliver equipment and materials to all manners of commercial and residential job-sites
• Pick-up loads and organize materials in an ordered, logical manner
• Safely and efficiently handle and unload equipment and materials at destination Obtain and sign invoices and manifests of inspected and confirmed pickups and deliveries
• Stay in communication with Production support manager and field crews as needed
• Perform inspections of your vehicle, trailer, and load prior to and following each trip
• Maintain service schedule of vehicle with shop manager (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.)
• Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered
• Track and report working hours
• Adhere to company rules and regulations
• Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions
• Comply with ICC and DOT regulations
• Make safety a priority at all times

Class A Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Clean driving record with no moving violations
• Must pass background check and drug test
• Skilled at driving large vehicles
• Alert, focused, and detail-oriented
• Physically and mentally fit
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. at a time
• Able to operate heavy equipment (skid steer, loaders, mini and large excavator)
• Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful
• High level of composure and good stress management
