What You Will Make Happen:

This supervisor is responsible for overseeing all production in the Sheeting Center. Ensure that production standards are met or exceeded and that all quality and AIB standards are being followed.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·         Supervise converting center operation in accordance with plant policies and procedures, meeting schedule demands and machine performance metrics.

·         Communicate with members of the staff’s management at the corporate facility.

·         Approve timecards and participate in employee reviews.

·         Report any employee injuries to the safety manager.

·         Adhere to all safety requirements and ensure all employees are well.

·         Ensure housekeeping throughout the Converting Center is kept up.

·         Ensure paperwork for the receiving of rolls is complete and accurate

·         Ensure sheeted material is labeled correctly and prepared for transportation correctly.

·         Other duties as assigned

To perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job, the employee must be accurate and precise, stand for long periods of time and must be capable of operating without direct supervision.

Safety Policies and Practices

All employees are required to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, hair nets, beard nets and steel toe shoes.   No jewelry or facial piercings are allowed while in the manufacturing area. Rules for employee conduct are covered in the employee orientation and in the employee handbook.
