Our team is actively looking to hire a motivated, creative and experienced Director of Nursing Services (DON/DNS) for our Long Term Care Facility in Franklin, MA.

We specialize in fast-track rehabilitation services and also provide long-term care when needed. It is our mission to provide our residents with customized rehabilitation programs to ensure optimal recovery and superior care. With 82 beds and an extensive list of amenities, we bring a new level of comfort to the care received.

Cedarwood Gardens is conveniently located near area hospitals in Franklin, MA and serves all surrounding communities including Milford, Medway, Wrentham and Foxborough.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The Director of Nursing is responsible for the Clinical Oversight, Planning, Quality, and Supporting of the Nursing Services within the organization. The Director of Nursing ensures all Department of Health Regulations are adhered to. Compliance with All State and Federal Guidelines required. The position reports to the Facility Administrator.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

RN License in the state required. – BSN preferred

At least five (5) years experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or long-term care facility, including geriatric and/or psychiatric nursing. Must have demonstrated a mastery of good clinical nursing skills.

Training in rehabilitation and restorative nursing care.

Ability to incorporate all aspects of nursing in total resident care plan.

Ability to organize, plan and supervise the nursing service departments.

Must have a capacity to grasp new theories and principles and implement them.
