Summary
The University of Michigan is accepting applications for a Big Ten Fellow position. The Big Ten Conference annually provides funding for an entry-level administrative position at each member institution.
The fellowship is intended to provide access, recruitment and leadership development experience for candidates interested in intercollegiate athletics.
Responsibilities*
The selected fellow will be assigned projects within the Athletic Department and will report directly to the Associate Director of Academic Success / Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Implementation Lead and perform duties wherever volume deems it necessary within various internal units including, but not limited to Athletic Administration, Development, DE&I, External Relations, and Student-Athlete Leadership and Career Development.
The selected fellow may also be able to gain experience in preferred departments of their choosing.
This position will perform all duties in accordance with NCAA, Conference and University rules, regulations and policies.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to research, compiling reports, planning and coordinating projects / events and other duties as assigned by unit leads, Athletic Department leadership, the Associate Director of Academic Success / DE&I Lead, and the Executive Assistant to the Athletic Director.
