  • Safari Engineering is looking for a Qualified Exterior Wall Inspector (QEWI)/Facade Inspector to join our team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform inspections on construction sites to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and project specifications.
    • Review construction plans, blueprints, and schematics to understand project requirements.
    • Collect data and document inspection findings, including any deviations or non-compliance issues.
    • Analyze inspection results and prepare detailed reports for project stakeholders.

    Requirements:

    • A registered design professional with at least 2 years of relevant NYC FISP experience.
    • QEWI certification strongly preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of contract specifications and construction management principles.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
    • Proficient in data collection and analysis for reporting purposes.
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues or deviations from project requirements.
    • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate inspection findings and collaborate with project stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of construction inspection techniques and quality control processes.
    • A valid drivers license and a personal vehicle
    • Must live in NYC (preferably in Queens) or be willing to relocate
