Responsibilities:Serve as Program Coordinator for the Early Childhood Education Program. This role includes scheduling courses and instructors, coordinating student teaching placements, coordinating benchmark and accreditation assessments as well as leading ongoing program development, innovation, and evaluation.Design and implement early childhood curriculum that ground pre-service teachers in deep understanding of critical social justice pedagogy, human development, social-emotional learning, and urban communities within strong field-based experiences.Engage in scholarship of teaching.Collaborate with faculty in the Urban Teacher Education programs to develop mutually beneficial partnerships with local schools and early childhood centers.Lead or assist in ongoing program development, innovation, and evaluation.Provide service to department, university, community, and professional organizations.Application Deadline: Applications received by April 22, 2024, are assured full consideration.
