We are seeking to fill a Water Resources Specialist position in Dunsmuir, CA.
The Water Resources Specialist and Stormwater/Water Quality position will consist of monitoring, report writing, and evaluating project site's compliance. As a Water Resource Specialist you will work with clients to provide environmentally sound solutions to their stormwater/water challenges.
Water Resources Specialist Position:
Site fieldwork, includes: traversing throughout project sites to understand the current conditions and activities, observing construction impacts, and performing trainings for on site personnel. Evaluating environmental compliance includes: issuing corrective actions based on deficiencies found on site that do not meet Construction General Permit (CGP), Regional Water Quality Control Board Permit (401 Permit) or the Army Corps of Engineers Permit regarding water quality (404 Permit) requirements. Water Quality and Stormwater Monitoring includes: collecting data on permit parameters, comparing data with permit parameters, and documenting visual observations. Report writing will vary depending on the local, state, and federal entities that have oversite for the project's compliance.
