Professor - Environmental Engineering teaches courses in the discipline area of environmental engineering. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Environmental Engineering provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Environmental Engineering typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. (AMT) is seeking highly motivated and diverse Landscape Architectural / Environmental Intern to join our team in either our Rockville, MD, Towson, MD, or Washington, DC office for the 2024 internship period. This is a paid full-time position with anticipated duration from June through August 2024 (flexible) and has the potential to transition into a Full-Time position upon graduation.  Position will entail collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams for in office and in the field environmental investigation on a broad range of project types

    Qualifications
    • Rising junior or senior student pursuing a Landscape Architecture or Environmental  Services degree or comparable degree from an accredited university
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Strong graphic design abilities
    • Familiarity with AutoCAD, GIS and/or  Microsoft Suite
    • Passion for design the environment
