Professor - Law teaches courses in the discipline area of law. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Law provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Law typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. **Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in all aspects of family law practice, including client communication, case management, and document preparation.
**Duties:**
- Assist in drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and correspondence
- Interview clients to gather case information
- Manage case files and maintain organized records
- Prepare discovery requests and responses
- Coordinate with attorneys to prepare for hearings and trials
- Assist in trial preparation and support during court proceedings
**Experience:**
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in legal software such as TxDocs
- Experience in legal drafting and e-filing
- Ability to assist in litigating cases under attorney supervision
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously
- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and clerical tasks
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
