    The Integrated Day Charter School, in partnership with its children, families and community, provides a safe, flexible and academically challenging learning environment that meets the unique social, emotional, academic and physical needs of each child. We are seeking a dynamic and creative Middle School Mathematics teacher with a background in content integration and the arts. IDCS is a Pre K to Grade 8 school. We follow the Responsive Classroom philosophy, and IDCS is a HOT school. This is a full time position.

    Responsibilities

    • Works with individuals and groups as a Mathematics Tutor
    • Establishes and adjusts instructional goals and objectives to reflect IDCS’s curriculum, and to meet the knowledge, skills, progress, and needs of students.
    • Plans learning activities to address individual differences among students.
    • Able to use formative and summative assessments to inform student learning and instructional goals.
    • Collaborates with grade level colleagues.

    Qualifications:

    • Required Certification: Connecticut Certification, Elementary Education 005 or 305; Mathematics Middle Grades preferred
