Department Opening: Math and Natural Sciences

The Mathematics Program is seeking a part-time Mathematics adjunct instructor for the Academic 2024-25. The qualified candidate will be responsible for teaching basic algebra, college algebra, trigonometry, calculus, business math, and possibly 300 level courses. There is a need for teaching in-person at the Marian campus in Fond du Lac, WI. There may be online teaching opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Teach in-person classes in a 15-week delivery. Courses will be undergraduate level
• Collaborate effectively with departmental and inter-departmental colleagues on training and program development.
• Support the department mission, which centers on student learning through quality instruction and curriculum enhancement.
• Strictly honor the privacy, security and confidentiality of student records and other sensitive information according to state, federal, and college regulations, policies and procedures.
• Create an effective learning environment through the use of a variety of instructional methods.

Requirements: Must have a Master’s degree, with a minimum of 18 credits in mathematics and two (2) years of experience in teaching at either the secondary or post-secondary level.
