Professor - Medical Ethics teaches courses in the discipline area of medical ethics. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Medical Ethics provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Medical Ethics typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. Commercial Compliance & Ethics Specialist

    In this role, you will be responsible for auditing and monitoring expense reports specific to transfers of value with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) across Commercial and Medical Affairs teams. As a Commercial Compliance & Ethics Specialist, you must be able to independently apply comprehensive and advanced knowledge of the PhRMA code, federal/state laws, company, and customer-specific policies related to transfers of value with HCPs. You will:

    • Perform auditing and monitoring activities across field and engagement center employees’ expense reports, specific to transfers of value with HCPs
    • Identify, track, and analyze HCP expense violations, and send coaching memos to employees for breaches of PhRMA code, company and customer-specific policies
    • Coordinate with Commercial Compliance management to resolve HCP-related expense issues
    • Provide direction and training to field and engagement center employees to mitigate reoccurring violations

    Essential Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent 2 years’ related experience
    • Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills

    Desired Requirements:

    • Travel and expense management experience

    This is a hybrid position, requiring 1 day in the office in Bridgewater, NJ.

    The annual base salary for this position ranges from $50,400 to $60,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
