Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students.     Responsibilities:

    Provide consultative medical care to patients residing outside of Olmsted County in Minnesota

    Perform patient visits (in-person and via telephone), review health history, manage medication, administer immunizations, conduct nutrition assessments, and perform blood pressure visits

    Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff on a daily basis

    Qualifications:

    Graduate of a practical nursing school or have passed LPN Boards

    Experience working as an LPN in a relevant setting is required

    Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations in clinical and research settings

    Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

    Computer skills required, prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred

    Flexibility to work daytime hours as needed

    License or Certification:

    Current LPN license as per state requirements

    Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required

    Exemption Status:

    Nonexempt

    Compensation Detail:

    $21.73 - $31.13 per hour

    Schedule Details:

    Monday-Friday; Variable start times, 8-hour shifts
