Professor - Medicine teaches courses in the discipline area of medicine. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being a Professor - Medicine provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Professor - Medicine typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has considerable experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and initiates research and case studies in field of interest and may publish findings in trade journals or textbooks. Provides intellectual leadership and has made significant contributions to the field. May offer independent study opportunities and mentoring to students. Job Description
As a nuclear medicine technologist, you'll prepare patients for testing by administering radioactive drugs. Working under the supervision of a physician at a hospital, physician's office, diagnostic lab or imaging center, you'll help patients understand the procedure, prep and deliver radioactive drugs, operate equipment, keep records and more. You'll play an important role in helping patients and providers get the answers they need.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent experience in relevant setting and specialty
- ARRT/NMTCB Certification
- BLS Certification (AHA)
- Current state license (if applicable)
