Responsibilities:

- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming patients
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed nurses
- Monitor and report patient vital signs and changes in their condition
- Document patient care in accordance with established medical documentation protocols
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
- Assist with patient transfers and ambulation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Teach patients and their families about their condition and treatment plans
- Utilize aseptic technique to prevent infection and promote a healthy environment
- Maintain knowledge of healthcare systems and technology
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction surveys

Qualifications:

- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working in a medical setting, preferably in an outpatient or acute care environment
- Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and patients as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with medical documentation and electronic health records
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
