Wilkes University invites applicants for a full time, tenure track Assistant Professor position in the Passan School of Nursing Undergraduate Department beginning August, 2025. The Passan School of Nursing offers both undergraduate and graduate programs and is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
The successful candidate is responsible for didactic and clinical instruction within the undergraduate program. The position requires specialization in Adult Health nursing and experience with international students. Efficient teaching, mentoring, and advising are expected of all faculty members at Wilkes University. Service to the university and community, as well as scholarly activities support the student-centered core. A Doctorate in Nursing is required but will consider candidates who are completing their PhD dissertation or scholarly project component of their DNP education. An unencumbered RN license with eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania is also required. The candidate should have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching, and current clinical competence. The ideal candidate should have prior experience teaching at the college level and teaching and advising international students. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
