    The Department of Pediatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Children’s Wisconsin (CW), seeks a board certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding Pediatric Nephrology Section. We are comprised of nationally and internationally renowned, dedicated group of faculty and staff with a strong commitment to clinical care.

    This is an ideal position for a pediatric specialist with a desire to work in a world-class academic medicine environment while living in a thriving metropolitan area perfect for raising a family and surrounded by incredible natural beauty.

    The role is employed by the Medical College of Wisconsin and provides care at Children’s Wisconsin locations in Northeast Wisconsin. Both organizations are based in the Milwaukee area. The Medical College of Wisconsin pediatric specialty providers who work at the nationally ranked Children’s Wisconsin are members of Children’s Specialty Group, a strong group practice of more than 775 elite pediatric specialty physicians, advanced practice nurses and physician assistants.

    This position is located in Northeast Wisconsin as part of an innovative collaboration between Children’s Wisconsin, Bellin Health and ThedaCare. These top-quality health care organizations are partnering to improve the health and well-being of children and adolescents in Northeast and Central Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, through joint venture called Connected for Kids. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with primary and specialty care providers at these organizations to improve patient outcomes. The connection between the organizations helps position our physicians to successfully support the needs of patients and their families.

Children’s Wisconsin provides primary care, urgent care, emergency care, specialty care, mental and behavioral health services, community health services, foster and adoption services, child advocacy services and health insurance plans.     Candidates should be board certified or eligible in Pediatric Nephrology and currently hold or be able to obtain an unrestricted license to practice in the State of Wisconsin.
